On 12.06.24 PhoBiA members met with our university’s rector, prof. dr hab. inż. Arkadiusz Wójs. We had the opportunity to reflect on our recent PANIC 2024 conference and discuss current and future endeavors of our association.
We end this academic year with a feeling of accomplishment and we are motivated to keep up our good work. We would like to wish all PhoBiA members, as well as our friends in Wrocław and beyond, safe, sunny and exciting summer holidays!

Because of the overlapping of our conference with a reporting session for PhD students at our university, PANIC 2024 has been rescheduled by one day!

W środę 13.12.2023 odbyło się spotkanie wigilijne członków naszego koła. Laboratoryjne fartuchy zamieniliśmy na kuchenne fartuszki i przygotowaliśmy różne smakołyki: naleśniki, krokiety, ciasta i ciasteczka. Przy takich pysznościach i ciepłej herbatce, mieliśmy okazję jeszcze lepiej się poznać i podyskutować o studiach, badaniach i pracach koła. Dziękujemy wszystkim za przybycie i zagrzewamy do dalszego zaangażowania w działalność PhoBii. ☢️If you’re interested in nanophotonics, nanotechnology, or biotechnology this conference is for you. During the summer school (15-19.05.2023), you will have the opportunity to listen to more than 30h of introductory lectures given by prominent scientists from all around Europe.

On Friday, November 4, an organizational-integration meeting of the PhoBiA association took place. During the meeting, we discussed the upcoming projects like organization of next scientific conference or photo contest as well as plans for the coming months. Afterward the official part of the meeting – members of PhoBiA relaxed together while playing card games 🙂
