Anna Pniakowska

I joined Advanced Materials Engineering and Modelling Group in 2015, when I found nanotechnology very interesting to me. I have pursue the study in this field at MONABIPHOT Master’s Programme (Molecular nano- and biophotonics for telecommunications and biotechnologies) at École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay in France, Universidad Complutence de Madrid in Spain and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST) in Poland. In 2019, I graduated simultaneously two Master’s degrees, in Chemistry and Physical Sciences. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student at WUST where I am working on fluorescent gold nanoclusters –  their synthesis, physicochemical and nonlinear optical properties as well as application in biological systems.

I spend my free time on acrylic painting, taking care of plants and doing DIY crafts.
