The registration for this year’s edition of MANIAC – MICROSCOPIC ART NON-LIMITED INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL CONTEST starts NOW! You can find the registration form here and all the rules and regulations can be found in the Documents tab.

The call for works is open until May 8, 2026. The exhibitions of selected works will take place from May 22 to June 15, 2026 at Wrocław Main Square and from May 25 to June 12, 2026 at Wrocław Tech.

This edition of the contest is financed by the ORLEN Foundation.

Extended registration for PANIC 2026

Registration for PANIC 2026 starts NOW!

The members of PhoBiA wish everyone a joyous year 2026. Using this occasion, we would also like to share a few photos from our Christams meeting. It was a time full of laughs and smiles and we were able to get to know each other better – outside of our university life. Everyone prepared their favourite regional dish, meaning that our table was filled with delicious food – from Christmas classics such as barszcz z uszkami and krokiety, through Greater Poland makiełki and Lemko fuczki, to Indian curry and Turkish mercimek köftesi.

We are concluding this years’ edition of MANIAC with an exhibition at Wrocław Tech. You can see the Top 3 works, as well as 32 other pieces of microscopic art chosen for the exhibition by our members at SKS (Strefa Kultury Studenckiej, C-18) on the ground floor. The works will be displayed there until December 8.

It has been an incredible contest with outstanding turnout. We have received a staggering 113 artworks from 42 authors! From this artful cornucopia our association’s members selected 19 gems to be exhibited in Świdnicka street next to the Market Square. The exhibition pleased the eyes of Wrocław residents for a whole week in September, while the remaining pieces will adorn the campus of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The date and place of the exhibition will be revealed later.
