11th International Conference Electrical and Related Properties of Organic Solids (ERPOS 11)
From 13th to 17th July 2008 in Piechowice (POLAND) the ERPOS 11 conference took place. The conference was organized by the Institute of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry of Wroclaw University of Technology with the help of PhoBiA members. Six of us took part in the conference (M. Banski, I. Bulik, P. Hanczyc, J. Kurzawa, J. Olesiak, M. Ziemienczuk) and presented four posters during the poster session. Moreover, K. Matczyszyn, our supervisor, and M. Ziemienczuk gave oral presentations. More information and plenty of nice photos you can find on the ERPOS 11 web page.
Ceremonial PhoBiA Meeting
We have pleasure in inviting you to Ceremonial PhoBiA Meeting which will be held on Thursday, 10th July. We would like to invite all the PhoBiA members students with their supervisor, but also every other who want take part in summary of PhoBiA activities in the recent semester. KNS — Student Scientific Conference
VI KNS took place at Wroclaw University of Technology from 12th to 14th May 2008. During this Student Scientific Conference Magdalena Zyrek, Joanna Olesiak, Slawomir Potocki, Mateusz Banski from PhoBia had their oral presentation.
And now it is a great pleasure to inform you that PhoBiA won the prize for one of the best student organizations at KNS. Moreover Magdalena Żyrek and Joanna Olesiak received individual prize for the best presentations.
III International Students Meeting
From 7th to 9th May at Wroclaw University of Technology the III International Student Chapter Meeting took place. It was the first time when PhoBiA was co-organizer of this event. Thank every one who took part in organization. We are very happy that the PhoBiA members and Monabiphot students so numerously took active part in official presentation, as well as in social events.
III International Students Meeting — program of conference
The program of the III International Students Meeting is already established.
We are very glad that all abstracts sent by PhoBiA members are accepted for the conference. Now you can start preparation of your presentation, we would only remind you that the one speech should be not longer than 15 minutes including time for questions.

First Seminary of PhoBiA
Last Thursday there was the first successful Seminary of PhoBiA. Thank you for your coming. We hope every one found somthing interesting for himself and had fun. In the gallery you can find some photos from the event.
III International Students Meeting — fee
We would like to inform that the payments for the III International Students Meeting will be possible in the morning on the 1st day of conference. We would like also remind you that the fee is 50PLN/15Euro.
The fee (50PLN/15Euro) is also obligatory for the students who want to take part in the conference as the observer. The payments cover the social event expenses.
First Seminary of PhoBiA
We have pleasure in inviting you to attend the first meeting of PhoBiA students’ and alumni scientific association. The meeting will be held on Thursday, 17th April at the Wroclaw University of Technology, room 221, building A3, beginning at 4.30 p.m.
During the meeting the talk of Daniel de Silva (PhD student at the University of Sao Paulo) will be given. The topic: “Training on optical methods of light-induced anisotropy and quantum chemistry calculations of nonlinear optical properties of selected systems”.
