Logo design contest

PhoBiA starts a new chapter in its history: we want to retire the old logo of our association and replace it with a new, modern design. We would like to ask our current and prospective members to help us create it!

Submit your logo ideas through this form.

Submission deadline: 04.12.24

We will award prizes to the best designs. And one of them will be chosen as the new logo of PhoBiA!

We welcome all submissions. At this stage your design does not have to be perfect, aligned, or a vector image. We will contact the author of the winning design and determine the final form of the logo together.

Useful information

Our current logo comes in two forms:

The banner form:

The square form:

You can choose to design either a banner or square logo or both.

We would like the new logo to have our name – PhoBiA, but not the full name. As we primary use it on conference posters or slides, the letters of the full name get too small.

We would like the new logo to reflect our scientific interests which include : microscopy, liquid crystals, optics, spectroscopy, fluorescence, structural biology, medical applications of light, nanomaterials.

We ask that the logo be your original work, and not constitute of pieces of someone else’s intellectual property.
