MANIAC 2020 INQUIRY OUTCOME

During the MANIAC 2020 exhibition, the participants could take part in an online survey, where they were asked a few questions about how they feel about the exhibition, what they liked and what not. Here we present some statistical information about that survey:

1.   ATTENDANCE

38 people took part in the survey, the vast majority of them enjoyed the event, namely 87%.

2.   RESULTS OF THE COMPETITION

By the decision of the judges, the competition was won by Ms Dominika Benkowska-Biernacka, representing the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. She presented the work entitled “Picasso’s foot”. On the podium there was also Ms. Nina Tarnowicz-Staniak with work entitled “Balloon” and Ms. Karen Marlenne Garcia, whose work was entitled “Myelin like structures”. It is worth mentioning that picture of Mr. Mateusz Bartz, a representative of the University of Wrocław, entitled “The tongue-shaped gametophyte”, received a honorary award. At the same time, his work turned out to be the best rated by the respondents.

3.    FEEDBACK FROM PARTICIPANTS

The participants received the event very positively, as evidenced by their responses, namely over 92% of participants would like to take part in similar events, it was difficult for two respondents to say, and the lack of willingness to participate in a similar event was expressed by a few people. However, 100% of people liked the idea of combining education and art.

4.   INFORMATION ON PARTICIPANTS

The vast majority of respondents currently live in the Lower Silesian Voivodship, they are mostly employed 67%, there were 14% of students, 5% of school pupils, 7% of unemployed parents and 7% of seniors. Survey respondents by their gender: 71% women and 29% men.
